Well the American Military utilizes boxing techniques (a long with a few others I think). I Like Boxing, and the whole glamor that it USED to have. As for actually using the style, It's not too bad. The only downside is that it's a style that only uses the arms, which brings you to a disadvantage if you want to/ are in a fight anyone knowing a different style such as some kinda karate lol. Though, on the bright side, most feather wieghts have astounding abilities in professional rings and the stamina/endurance involved is crazy (regardless of the weight class). To imagine that cuts are created through the use of padded gloves blows me away. I think it was in Ip Man 2 that they had boxing contending with one of the best fighting styles of China. Quite the battle if you ask me, although China's technique won, the fact that Boxing was able to contend at least somewhat was remarkable. Besides that, I love the idea of Raw Power boxing shows and its requirement of hard endurance training. I'd Love to see Bruce Lee versus some of the boxing greats of the time.

Anyway, this is coming from a guy who grew up being taught the basics of boxing. I have a lot of respect for Grapplers too, so don't think I'm just all for boxing haha. Gotta love the fights in the Octagon, right? I'd love to learn some Mui Thai Techniques...

Oh yeah, pardon my spelling, I'm not familiar with the spelling of some of these fighting styles.
